Privacy notice

Who we are

JamesWongHomes.com is the personal website of Wong Say Tian (James), a real estate salesperson with PropNex Realty Pte Ltd (Licence No. L3008022J), registered with the Council for Estate Agencies under CEA Reg. No. R007728G. This notice explains how we handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

What we collect

• Enquiry form: your name, preferred contact details, your property situation and, if you choose to share it, the property or estate you are asking about. We also record which page you were reading when you sent the enquiry, so James knows what prompted it.
• WhatsApp, phone and email: whatever you choose to send. WhatsApp messages are also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
• Website usage: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location (city level) and how you arrived, collected through analytics technologies. See "Cookies and analytics" below.

Please do not send NRIC or passport numbers, bank statements, CPF statements or other financial documents through the website form. If documents are needed for a transaction, James will arrange a secure way to share them.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and discuss your property plans.
• To prepare the analysis or information you asked for.
• To understand which content is useful so the website can be improved.
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations, including those of the property agency.

We will not use your details to send marketing messages unless you have agreed to receive them, and we respect the Do Not Call Registry for Singapore telephone numbers.

Consent and withdrawal

By submitting the enquiry form you consent to being contacted about your enquiry. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing jameswong7890@gmail.com. We will stop using your data for that purpose within a reasonable time, and let you know of any consequences, for example that we can no longer respond to your enquiry.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only where needed to run this website or serve you:

• Service providers that run this website: Vercel (hosting), Resend (delivers enquiry-form emails to James) and Google Analytics (measures website usage). Each processes data under its own data-protection terms.
• PropNex Realty Pte Ltd, where your enquiry proceeds to a property transaction handled through the agency.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

Some service providers store data outside Singapore. Where they do, we rely on their contractual commitments to protect it to a standard comparable to the PDPA.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which pages and links are used, including clicks on the WhatsApp, call and enquiry buttons. It sets cookies in your browser and records approximate location (city level), device type and pages visited; IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on; the website will still work.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and for any resulting transaction, and then for as long as legal or regulatory record-keeping requires. After that they are deleted or anonymised.

Access and correction

You may ask what personal data we hold about you, how it has been used, or ask us to correct it. Email jameswong7890@gmail.com with your request. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Security

We use reputable service providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to protect the data we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please share only what is needed.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our tools or practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version. See also the general information disclaimer.
