Only the walk to Woodlands South is given in minutes, and it is an estimate: the real walk depends on where CDL puts the gates. Other distances are straight lines from the middle of CDL's site, not routes. The RTS Link's passenger service is expected from February 2027, subject to approvals.

Getting around
How easy is the train?
Woodlands South MRT is the station you'll use most. It's about 280 m from the site as the crow flies, which should make it roughly a five-minute walk, although the exact route depends on where CDL puts the gates. From there the Thomson-East Coast Line runs straight into town, through Springleaf, Caldecott and Orchard to Marina Bay, with no change of train. One stop north is Woodlands, where you can switch to the North-South Line, shop at Causeway Point or catch a bus from the interchange.

Daily life around it
Shops, parks, healthcare and schools
For errands, Causeway Point is at Woodlands station, one stop away, with the Woodlands Regional Library beside it at the Civic Centre. Woodlands Hospital is a short walk from the site, and NHG Polyclinics Woodlands is at 10 Woodlands Street 31. For the weekends there's Admiralty Park, 27 hectares off Riverside Road, and Woodlands Waterfront Park, 11 hectares on the water with a 400 m jetty. Republic Polytechnic is on Woodlands Avenue 9.
Innova Primary is around the corner, about 380 m away, and Woodgrove, Si Ling and Woodlands Primary are all within about 1.2 km. These are straight-line distances from the middle of CDL's site. Primary 1 places go by the distance from your own unit's address, so check OneMap's school query once the addresses are out.

And what's still to come
CDL lists Wynwood Grand as an EC of about 430 homes on a 99-year lease. At its results in August 2026 it said it was aiming to launch in the first quarter of 2027, subject to approvals, and at the end of September it was still on CDL's list of projects not yet launched. CDL won the land in August 2025 with a bid of $360.9 million.
Still to come: prices, floor plans and the unit mix, payment schemes, the booking date and the completion date. If you see a firmer launch date elsewhere, check that it really came from CDL.

The rules, briefly
Same as Solano Grand
Wynwood Grand's land tender closed on 5 August 2025, the same day as Solano Grand's, so the same rules apply: a $16,000 household income ceiling and a five-year minimum occupation period, then resale to citizens and PRs only until 10 years from TOP (the temporary occupation permit). Whether your household can buy, and how much you can borrow, comes down to HDB's rules and your bank, not the project.

Which one is which?
Sim Lian won the other EC site on Woodlands Drive 17 in January 2026, for $484,000,000, with about 560 homes in HDB's estimate. It's a separate project on the same rules, and Sim Lian hasn't announced a name or a launch date yet. The two are compared under More detail below.

Money and timing
One family's earlier move from an HDB flat at 635B Senja Road to Copen Grand, an EC, is written up in the 635B case. It was an exceptional case that rested on that family's own bank, buyer and dates; it isn't a method that will play out the same way for this launch.
Wait for CDL's own prices before comparing. Any figure you see before then is someone's estimate.
Common mistakes
- Taking a straight-line distance as the walk, or as the distance used for Primary 1.
- Counting on the RTS Link or the Woodlands Gateway as if they were already open.
- Mixing up the two EC sites on Woodlands Drive 17.
- Assuming the new $18,000 ceiling or the 10-year MOP applies here. They don't.
